Staying true to their roots: Azahari and Azahar revived their late father’s livestock business through the internet

Taking over their late father’s livestock farming business, enterprising twins En Azahari and En Azahar have overcome numerous trials and challenges to prove that with hard work and dedication, success can happen.

AAFC Teguh Enterprise began as a small family business to raise cattle livestock and sell beef produce. Initially, only neighbouring friends and relatives would know of their business, which thanks to their father’s legacy, had grown very well via word of mouth.

Yet, despite dedicating hours of backbreaking work, Azahari and Azahar would struggle to expand their business beyond their hometown borders. After all, it would be tough to travel and do traditional on-ground marketing when the farm itself needed as many hands as possible to be present.

That was when online marketing opened new doors of opportunity for them, without ever needing to leave home.

Sowing the seeds of computer and internet literacy

Cattle Farming 2At first, anything to do with computers was alien to them, especially since they’ve been working on the farm ever since their early school days. But this was no challenge for the dedicated trainers of Felda Chuping’s 1Malaysia Internet Centre. Without second thought, the staff took Azahari and Azhar under their wing and taught the twins valuable computer skills and internet marketing know how.

Today, Azahari & Azahar are able to independently promote their business through websites such as Facebook and Mudah, multiplying both their market reach and their income. They are very grateful for the facilities and the knowledge they have gained at the centre. Now, they can proudly take their father’s word-of-mouth legacy to a digital new level.
