Our 3rd Performance Review & Team Building for CBC Managers for 2011 was recently held at the Lost World of Tambun in Ipoh. For the first time, this annual event involved all our CBC (Community Broadband Centre) managers and assistant managers from all over Malaysia.

All participants assembled at KL Sentral on 1 May 2012 for a memorable and enjoyable train ride to the Ipoh Station.

During the course of the event, participants were provided with training to improve their performance and motivation. The event started with an inspiring opening speech by our CEO, Dato’ Ramli Abbas. During the subsequent speech by MCMC, they acknowledged the high standards and performance provided by Celcom 1CBC making them among the best in the country.

One of the highlights of the Performance Review was the session by Operations Manager, En Kamrahuddin Kamarudin who briefed the participants and guests on the 2011 achievements for every CBC. Figures and charts were shown to reflect their accomplishments in all key areas of measurements. Future plans were laid out, while current issues were discussed and action plans spelled out.

A briefing on the new iCitizen internet training programme was also made by Prestaring Systems Sdn Bhd. This programme with certification has been successfully launched at two of our CBCs recently and will go nationwide soon.

An enjoyable Train the Trainer (TOT) session was conducted by Profound Learning Solution (PLS) where participants were exposed to various techniques to motivate their audience and enhance their confidence. Among the activities conducted were “Responsibility and Connecting with People”, “Treasure Hunt” and “Wearing A Trainer’s Hat”.

An award presentation was held during dinner which was attended by VIPs and the CBC teams. Among the awards given were for “The Best CBC for 2011” and “Best Regional Representative for 2011”.

A “Rock & Roll” theme was chosen for dinner and highly charged and entertaining performances were delivered by various CBC groups.

“Group Discussions & Presentations” were conducted to cap the event. Different issues were assigned to various CBC groups and all participants benefitted through the learnings by different CBCs that were shared during the session.

The 2011 Performance Review & Team Building for CBC Managers concluded successfully with useful “take-aways” to enable all Celcom 1CBCs to improve their performances to greater height.
